Size Range

Available in sizes from 1/2" to 30", this pipe fixing clamp accommodates a broad range of pipe diameters for varied installation requirements.

Material and Finish

• Body material: Carbon steel construction provides structural strength and load-bearing performance for pipe suspension applications.
• Finish options: Choose a plain finish or hot-dip galvanized finish. Both options include zinc-plated bolts and nuts to enhance component corrosion resistance.

Application

Recommended for suspending cold pipelines or hot pipelines that do not require insulation, the clamp serves as a connector for suspending and securing pipeline systems.

Maximum Temperature Rating

• Plain finish: Maximum temperature resistance of 750°F.
• Hot-dip galvanized finish: Maximum temperature resistance of 450°F.

The product complies with the following federal specifications and industry standards:

• Federal specifications: A-A-1192A (Type 4) and WW-H-171-E (Type 4).
• Industry standards: ANSI/MSS SP-69 and MSS SP-58 (Type 4).
• Third-party certifications: Sizes from 3/4" to 8" have UL and ULC listings and FM approval.

Installation

The clamp is normally used with a Fig. 290 weldless eye nut or eye rod. Its design supports straightforward installation with mainstream pipe suspension system components.

Notes

The “C” gap provides clearance at the top attachment point for a weldless eye nut or another suitable rod attachment. This gap may not be present on the bottom part of the clamp. For applications requiring different loads or dimensions, refer to Fig. 42 SD non-standard two-bolt pipe clamp.
